This closet was nicknamed the Harry Potter Closet, not just because it was under the stairs, but also because items would enter the closet only to magically disappear, never to be seen again. It was originally intended to be a linen and craft closet with a little extra space for holiday decor that the homeowner didn’t want stored in the attic. However, over the years it had become a dumping ground.

I worked with the homeowner to purge unneeded and unwanted items, find new homes for items that did not belong, and organize what remained.

We used storage bins and containers that she already owned with a few additions from the Dollar Tree and just added labels.
